Honduras has had an interim government since president Zelaya has been ousted in June. The current government has been making efforts to silence anybody in support of president Zelaya, including journalists. Check out the link above. If you have time please write a letter to the interim government, to let them know that the world is watching.

I am currently fundraising for this great organization. Not an easy job, since it is getting dark early now and it is cold out there. As I go door to door in the suburbs many doors are slammed in my face. But I am energized by the 9 to 11 % positive responses I am getting. If you want to get involved please get in touch with me.

Another reason for this blog is that I am planning to launch a small local business. More on that as we go along. It will be a service business, along the meet-up, tour guiding, match-making lines. Dreaming of a tropical vacation

Sitting in my kitchen, while the first winter storm passes through San Francisco. While the rain and winds slam again the window, I am nice and cozy, because my landlady keeps the house at a toasty 85 degrees. It feels tropical, but it’s not the whole package. I can’t help wishing I was in Honduras, in my own house lounging in a hammock. Check out our adobe. BTW it is for rent, should you have vacation time coming up, why not leave the cold behind and escape to the tropical beaches of Central America.
